You are invited to be a part of a dynamic adventure in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. Glacier Wilderness is a special program designed for high school and adult groups looking for a spiritual growth experience in the mountains. Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp, an ELCA ministry, is 60 years old and located on Flathead Lake in northwestern Montana. Your adventure will be in one of the wilderness areas near the camp and adjacent to Glacier National Park. For reservations, availability, and costs, call the Camp Office at 1-800-752-6610. Glacier Wilderness costs include all meals, tents, cooking equipment, stoves and group gear. You bring only personal gear such as sleeping bags, rainwear, and warm clothing. One adult leader is at no cost for every ten paying campers
Hike in Big Sky Country with peaks touching the heavens and crystal blue lakes in hidden valleys. Your group will experience the challenge and accomplishment of a week long wilderness trip. You will stretch, grow and learn with two trained camp guides. Our backpacking trips are designed for youth of all abilities. The terrain and hikes are varied and the country magnificent. Your wilderness adventure can end with the option of a white water rafting trip. Program and dates can be custom designed.

Montana, sometimes called "the Last Best Place," invites you to a week of mountains, wilderness and water. Your group, along with a guide, will start at the Canadian border and learn to paddle a raft down one of the most remote rivers in the state. This is not a white water trip, although there are portions of white water. There are a limited number of permits given out for this scenic river located next to Glacier National Park, so sign up early.

Enjoy three days of sailing on beautiful Flathead Lake. Work as a group, as you learn to sail, navigating Flathead's crystal blue waters. Camp under the stars and visit islands along the way. Challenge yourself on the high ropes course and you have the option to experience some of the warmest white water in Montana, as your raft on the Flathead River.

Your group will ply the crystal blue waters of a Montana lake as you paddle from campsite to campsite in your sea kayak. Kayakers will learn different paddling strokes and rescue maneuvers. Camp on islands or remote beaches and explore your Christian faith while experiencing the challenge and joy of living in community. Whitewater rafting and/or high ropes are offered as an option on this trip. Designed for senior high and adult groups of 6 to 10.
Want a challenging environmental and spiritual experience? Spend your week camping in beautiful Montana while your group partners with the U.S. Forest service to provide trail maintenance, campground restoration and other creation care experiences. Meaningful worship and Bible study will be integrated into your week of service. White water rafting is offered as an option at the end of the week.

Join us at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp for a week focused on service along with the traditional camp experience. Service opportunities abound at Camp and in the community of the Flathead Valley. Your group will work with various organizations that provide services to the community such as neighborhood rehabilitation projects, housing construction, trail maintenance, and opportunities for service with senior citizens. There is also the possibility to work on service projects around camp. Meaningful worship and Bible study will be integrated into your week of service. There will also be time for participants to take part in camp experiences such as campfires, hiking, swimming, canoeing, and arts and crafts.
There is also the option to experience the high ropes course and whitewater rafting with this trip.

Get your favorite group of women together and charter a WOW trip with Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp. Experienced female counselors will lead you on this adventure. Customize your trip to include whitewater rafting, sailing, kayaking or optional high ropes fun. We take care of all the logistics, food and Bible studies. You come to have fun and relax. Enjoy whitewater rafting at its finest. Professional guides take your group on a thrill ride through class III and IV rapids. Whitewater rafting is the perfect capstone to your wilderness experience.
